We Show Up
If we give you a window, we keep it. If something genuinely goes wrong on an earlier job, you get a phone call — not silence and a guess.

Dorzi Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is a licensed plumbing and heating contractor working out of 229 Green Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We take care of New York buildings the way they're actually built — and we tell you the truth about what they need.

New York plumbing is its own discipline. Cast iron waste stacks, galvanized supply that's been patched four times, one-pipe steam risers threaded through a hundred-year-old brownstone, tenant access, co-op boards, DOB filings. Contractors who learned the trade in the suburbs tend to find that out the expensive way.
Dorzi Plumbing & Heating was built for this city specifically. We're a licensed New York City Master Plumber and a New York State Certified Backflow Tester, and we work on everything from a single apartment to whole multi-family portfolios — plumbing and heating both, under one license, so you're not refereeing between two contractors when the boiler and the water line are part of the same problem.
What we're actually trying to be is simple: the plumber you don't have to manage. We show up in the window we gave you, we tell you what's wrong in language you can repeat to your landlord, we price it before we start, and we leave the place clean.
Ask any contractor for their license and insurance before they touch your building. Here's ours — and we'll send documentation to your management company on request.
The license New York City requires for plumbing and gas work. It means the work can be permitted, inspected and legally signed off — not just done.
New York State certification to test, certify and file backflow prevention devices — the annual requirement most commercial buildings are subject to.
Liability coverage on every job, with certificates of insurance available for buildings, boards and management companies that require them on file.

Photos of the failed part, the camera footage from the line, the corrosion inside the pipe. You should be able to see why the repair costs what it costs.
If a $180 repair will hold for another decade, we'll tell you that instead of selling you a replacement. Long-term customers are worth more than one big ticket.
Drop cloths down before we start, debris out when we finish. The only evidence we were there should be that the thing works now.

Whether it's a dripping valve or a building-wide heating problem, the first step is the same: tell us what's happening.
